In contrast, if the second hand keeps ticking for a long time, then it will not be able to finish after the watch is winded up, and the sensitivity is low, or there is something wrong with the Swiss watch.

3. Check the location of each hand and the space among them. There should be certain distance between the face and the hands and among the three hands, or they will rub one another, which will affect the normal running of the watch.

4. Check the winding mechanism. Normal watches wind easily. When winding up, you should firstly feel it loose, and then tight. When you can’t go on spinning the button, which means the watch has been fully winded up and the winding mechanism is in working order. On the contrary, if there is strange noise when you spin the button, then the winding mechanism is out of order.

5. Check the hand setting system. A high quality Swiss watch should be flexible and reliable and the hands should turn evenly when you are setting the hands.
